"A Taste of Restoration Brunch"

Michelle Hargrove, founder of VC Legacy, Inc. a national not-for- profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to providing a catalog of services and events to empower, inspire and educate women and families by offering support to mothers of medically compromised children, has joined forces with some of the most positive and generous women of power, to promote  awareness nationwide to a series of life experiences that influence the lives of everyday women.

Michelle understands trial and tribulation does not discriminate, it sees no color, no status and certainly no economic crisis. In accepting this, she also realizes that love and restoration positively affects everyone. Through VC Legacy, Inc she intends for this love to be known nationwide using “Restoration Weekend” and the “Taste of Restoration” brunch series as the driving force.

“Taste of Restoration” is an opportunity to take a glimpse into the VC Legacy, Inc signature event “Restoration Weekend” taking place for the second year at the lavish Grand Velas All Suites Resort and Spa in Riviera Maya, Mexico. (September 23-26 2010)

This taste, themed as a customary brunch/high tea party, is an experience rarely conceived. An afternoon where ids, social status’, and merits are set aside, allowing transparency into the lives of women as they share their journeys and the courage it has taken to become fearless. Through these beautifully unscripted testimonies women are brought back to the heart of matter, speaking the first true language they all know and understand, Love. The type of Love that allows women from every walk of life the grace to smile brighter in the face of adversity, the strength press forward for their loved ones who surround them in their time of need and most importantly the faith that they stand on reassuring them that they are able to continue doing those tasks of ‘normalcy’ as the matriarch of their families.  “Women need women and the story of one has the power to heal many,” lyrics to the song at the core of Michelle’s heart which remains the focus of each preview to “Restoration Weekend.” “As women, we continually make sacrifices and put ourselves in compromising positions necessary to maintain order and balance in the lives of our families, friends, and our community. Yet, it is equally important for us to maintain order and balance in our own lives.”

“A Taste of Restoration” is a simultaneous explosion of love and education. It’s the opportunity to bridge together what the world only knows to separate.  During this taste of restoration whether the diagnosis is Spina Bifida, Traumatic Brain Disorder, Down Syndrome Trisomy 18, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Heart Mumurs, Congenital Heart Disease, Sickle Cell Disease, Children born addicted under alcohol and/or substance abuse – the emphasis of THIS event will be surrounded in victory and celebration as VC Legacy, Inc. recognizes the undying, everlasting love of women and mothers.

Single, married, with or without children, this celebration of love and unity is an awareness that serves to aid in the process of healing. It is a difficult task to understand what a woman undertakes in caring for her family but THIS afternoon, sharing a cup of tea you will feel the impact of victory.  BE A PART of the healing of women and mothers that will have their long awaited RESTORATION!
